School Profile
Hagley Catholic High School
This is a co-educational 11-18 Voluntary Aided Catholic Comprehensive school operating within the Archdiocese of Birmingham and in partnership with Worcestershire County Council. The school has six forms of entry and there are approximately 1030 pupils on roll, of whom over 180 are in the Sixth Form.
The school was opened in a beautiful semi-rural setting in 1959 to serve the Catholic community of north-west Worcestershire. Since then the school has flourished and has been fortunate to have benefited from a number of building programmes. Today Hagley Catholic High School draws its pupils from five main partner primary schools in Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Stourport, Halesowen and Birmingham, together with other Catholic primary schools in Brierley Hill and those in south-east Birmingham adjacent to the main Hagley Road. For a number of years we have been heavily oversubscribed. Our planned admission number is 168 but we regularly have over 250 applications.
