IMPORTANT

Please complete both your User Details AND your Teacher Profile . It is ESSENTIAL that you complete both steps, so that your profile will be visible on the website and schools will be able to match your talents against their vacancies.

Step 1  User Details:

Username: Create a username for yourself that you will remember. This username enables you to login to the system, and will not be displayed in the public area of the system – other users will not see your username.

Email:  Please make sure that the email address you supply is confidential to you and will be accessed by you on a regular basis as this is how we will contact you with regards to vacancies, applications and interviews etc.

Password: Please create a password that you will remember. It must be 8-20 characters long and must contain both letters and at least one number.

* NOTE:-  If you forget your username, email sean@teachertalentpool.co.uk and the administrator will send you your username by return

Personal Details: Please enter your personal details as requested. Again, this information WILL NOT be visible on the website and will only be used by Teacher Talent Pool. Your personal details will only be shared with schools when you complete an application form for a specific vacancy.

Other: Please let us know how you heard about us. 

Terms and Conditions: Please review the Terms and Conditions (by clicking on the blue link ‘terms and conditions’) and then tick the box to accept and agree to them.

Step 2 – Teacher Profile   This is your opportiunity to SELL YOURSELF to schools!

Remember: You can change your profile at any time should you wish to do so.

Current Role:  In this section, tell us about your current role, and select from each of the drop down menus shown, as appropriate , to indicate your subject /key stage and second subject, your responsibilities, salary grade and bonus.

Looking for: Please tell us about the role you are looking for by selecting from the drop down menus. Please note that this is the section that Teacher Talent Pool matches from, ie if you choose job role ‘Teaching ’ and subject ‘Mathematics ’, you will be matched against all vacancies for teachers of Mathematics .

Job Role:  Tell us about the job role you are looking for. As before, use the drop down menus to select the approprate categories.

Public Profile:  This is a free text box. This is your chance to sell yourself to prospective employers . List your experience, areas of expertise, achievements, why you would be a great employee, etc. A well presented profile full of achievements and expertise will encourage more employers to contact you!

WARNING : Please be aware that this information IN YOUR PROFILE is viewable by anyone who may visit the Teacher Talent Pool website. Individuals browsing the Internet can view these public profiles, as well as schools, without the need to log in to the system, so DO NOT INCLUDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION SUCH AS : your name, telephone numbers, email or address, as this information is in the public domain. We also reccommend that you do not include your current or previous employers' names as they may read the profile - just outline your employment history and the type of establishment.  Any schools who are interested in your profile will contact you through the site, when they have a vacancy to fill. Personal details can then be exchanged with an interested potential employer. Use this as an opportunity to sell your profile , not your personal details.

CV:  You do not need to upload a CV as part of this registration process.

As part of the application process you will be asked to complete an online application form  when you apply for a specific vacancy.This will then saved against your profile and will be available for you to select and submit, or edit and submit, for other vacancies. The personal information within this Application form is only viewable by the recruiting school when you submit an application.

QTS and CRB : Click in the empty boxes to place a tick in them to indicate Yes, or leave blank to indicate No.

Finish: That’s it! We told you it was fast! Now click on the link to complete your registration. You will then returned to the system and will be able to view the area called  ‘My Pool’. You will also see a confirmation at the top of the page that you have successfully created a new account in your name.

You will receive an email as confirmation of registration, which will be sent to the email address you supplied in the registration process.
