| Public Profile: | I am currently working as a supply teacher but am still considered to be an NQT. I am an English specialist. I have worked in a variety of schools in inner city Birmingham and the West Midland areas. I have experienced a variety of special needs and beahviour problems. I have taught every age group across the Foundation stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. I have taught every subject across the Foundation, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two Curriculums. I worked in Serbia for a term, where I had my own Foundation and Key Stage One class. I had experience of planning to overcome language barriers and for a variety of abilities. I assessed the children against the objectives, wrote termly reports and had a lot of involvement with parents. I also worked at Hydesville Tower School in Walsall where I taught reception and year 6 for a term. This enabled me to learn about different behaviour strategies for the year groups and I also taught Key Stage Two SATS, which I voluntarily took home and marked. I also worked at a summer camp in California where I was responsible for a group of ten and eleven year olds, twenty four hours a day. I taught them a variety of activiites which included canoeing, hiking, swimming and archery. |
