Undergraduate of the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) studying Primary Education. Experienced and eager to work with children and youths with diverse learning needs and social differences, opportunities to further my experience and knowledge in a Primary School environment, committed to working hard and creating a positive impact in a classroom.
Achieving an overall grade 1 for my final placement. As work experience before University spent six weeks in a year 1 and 2 class, helping assist the classroom teacher during school hours. Gained knowledge and understanding of the school ethos. After school supported a member of staff with after school netball, practicing many of the vital key skills, having great enjoyment with the children whilst doing so. Taught 25 – 75% of lessons, planning in advance and creating resources. Worked as part of a year group teaching team. Developed communication skills and positive relationships with children, giving simple clear instructions in an enthusiastic manor to create a friendly, happy classroom. Motivating children to take part in physical activity. Basic umpiring of team games. |
